Happy birthday to the Republican Party! Founded on March 20, 1854, today we celebrate 171 years of individual rights. The GOP brought our first Republican President Abraham Lincoln, who ended the Democrats’ slavery. The GOP fought against Jim Crow Laws. The GOP is why we have the women’s right to vote. The GOP passed the Civil Rights Acts of the 1950s and 1960s. Even now, the Republican Party continues to fight for common sense and prosperity for all Americans!
